Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was an artist, interior designer, and decorative arts entrepreneur whose work was inspired by a lifelong fascination with nature. His stained-glass work in lighting produced exquisite lamp shades, primarily for residential use. While early industrial designers admired the exposed bulb in new electric lighting, as we see in the Nickerson Mansion ceilings, Tiffany applied his artistic approach to shades that covered the bulb entirely and directed light downward to softly light the dark interiors common at the turn of the century.
Each ornament will bring the color, light, and forms Tiffany found in nature's omnipresent beauty into any space. All are approximately 3.5" diameter and packed in a small gift box.
