Contemporary Chicago artist Harper Veresiuk created this work for the Museum. It captures the warm glow of reflecting light on the ‘Tall Roman’ silver-coated punch bowl by Tiffany & Co. on view in the Driehaus Museum Dining Room. The punch bowl was created for the World’s Fair in Chicago in 1893. On the lid is the ‘two-faced’ Janus, the Roman god of doorways and all beginnings.
