In this masterpiece of three-color printing, a delightful young woman with a voluminous dress and extravagant hat bears a tray of dainty cocktails. The drink, a mixture of brandy, Curaçao, strawberry syrup, lemon, and vinegar, is named after a much-lauded comedian at the Palais Royal.
This work was featured in the Museum's 2017-2018 exhibition, L'Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters.
