Eames Chairs Coasters - Set of 4
Husband-and-wife design team Charles and Ray Eames are ranked among the most influential designers of the twentieth century, with landmark controbutions to furniture, architecture, film, textiles and the photographic arts. Their association with the Museum of Modern Art goes back to 1940 when Charles's entry was a winner of the MoMA competition "Organic Design in Home Furnishings". Since then nearly 100 examples of their work have entered the Museum's design collection.
Each of these coasters displays a different Eames ® chair: 1948 La Chaise; 1946 Molded Plywood Chair with Metal Legs; 1951 Wire Side Chair; and 1956 Lounge Chair and Ottoman. This durable acrylic coaster set includes rubber feet to protect surfaces.
