S.M. Nickerson & Co. Hip Flask

Regular price $49.00 Sale

Before building the grand mansion that would one day house the Driehaus Museum, Samuel Mayo Nickerson built a fortune as a distiller. Establishing his business on the North Branch of the Chicago River, near modern-day Cortland Street, Nickerson primarily dealt in "high wines and rectified spirits," that is to say industrial grain alcohol. Nickerson sold his distilling business in 1864 and went into banking, where he grew his fortune immensely.

These handsome stainless steel, 8oz hip flasks will make a statement with their striking 1860s-style engraved logo for the S.M. Nickerson & Co. Distillery. Perfect for holding your favorite alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage!

Small funnel to fill flask easily is included.
